The production process of original Perna extract
The original Perna extract found in PernaLife® is obtained exclusively from 100% Perna Canaliculus mussels, sourced from the pristine waters of New Zealand.
The mussels are harvested between 18 and 24 months, when they reach their peak nutritional concentration, just before sexual maturity. To keep the active ingredients intact, the processing occurs immediately after harvesting, without the use of heat. Only cold extraction allows for the preservation of lipids and nutrients in their purest form. It is a complex and costly procedure, but it guarantees unparalleled quality.
